Ready-Set-Go

Yesterday I left my house at 4:45 a.m. to travel over three hours to a work-related meeting.

Seven hours later I drove back to Missoula where I met Dear Husband and Claire at the vet at 5:30 pm for a blood draw.

Dear Husband dropped off the blood at the human hospital lab where the testing is done, and I went to campus where I had another meeting until 7:30 pm.

The progesterone was 6.9, which means she started ovulating yesterday.

First breeding date is tomorrow.

Family reunion with the humans starts on Friday.

And somehow I have to drive 978 miles between 5 pm today and tomorrow afternoon.

This breeding stuff — wow. So many moving parts.

Another reason it is not for the faint of heart.

Think good thoughts for us and have a fantastic day!
