The cause of Berkeley’s blood sugar issues remain unknown. The genetic tests showed a possible issue — but nothing conclusive. Things are managed with diet — with frequent meals that include a good amount of carbs, her blood sugar is usually okay.
Next up is a genetic test for Galen to see if he shares that one questionable gene because it is also linked to Type I diabetes, which he has.
We had dinner with the extended Heintzbergers family — their presence in the Boise area is such a happy blessing.
