We left bright and early this morning to drive northeast to Butte, Montana to meet up with Sapphire’s new humans — Tricia and Dave 💙
Sapphire will be living with his grandfather, the one and only Ferguson, and his Aunt Halley, who came along to keep him company on his trip into his new life in Minnesota.
Tricia and Dave are the PERFECT home for Sapphire — I am so thrilled to have him with them, and very grateful 💙
We let the puppies play for a while and then Star Garnet said goodbye to her brother as only a sister would…
Sapphire and his family headed east and we headed west. They are settled in Billings tonight, and reported that Sapphire was an excellent traveler.
I gifted Sapphire with Harper B’s peacock — he has always loved it and I thought Harper would approve 🩷
We headed west and then north and here we are for the next two nights.

I have a two day work event here — right down the hall. Perfect. I brought as much “home” with us as I could.
This should be interesting!
