The puppies continue to display miscreant behavior. They steal, fight, trash talk each other, and escape. I pull questionable non-edibles out of their mouths all the time — rocks, sticks, grass clumps, etc. I expect them to be starting fires soon.
But look at these faces!!!! The Boys.

Puppies are deeply afflicted with IWWUH (I Want What U Have).
Once somebody else has the thing, that thing is suddenly incredibly desirable.
Topaz was happily chewing on the thing.
That triggered Jasper to want the thing and they were off to the races.
Topaz was resolute — he was NOT giving up the thing.
Jasper saw Sapphire with a thing and decided he needed that one. Whew — Topaz was relieved and went looking for a place to enjoy his thing.
Uh Oh. Sapphire, newly deprived of his thing thanks to Jasper, saw Topaz with the thing and decided he really needed it.
He tried — unsuccessfully — to steal it from Topaz. Poor Topaz! He just wanted to chew his thing in peace!!
And then it got even worse for Topaz — Star Garnet showed up.
The brothers are no match for Star Garnet and her Girl Power. Off she went with the thing.
And then Capella stole it from her, which explains a lot about the puppies’ propensity to ignore that eighth commandment.
Jasper very quietly found a new thing.
Nobody else wanted it because it was hot and they were tired and everyone knows Star Garnet will just show up to the party and take it anyway.
Star Garnet: “Who, me?”
Last week I overheard Berkeley say to Star Garnet: “Girl, you have a great personality!” 😂 I agree but her brothers might have a different opinion.
Even though they are miscreants, Capella really enjoys her puppies 🩷💙💙💙
Tomorrow (Wednesday) the Gems are eight weeks old! How did that happen?! We have a busy day planned.
