Jasper at ten weeks.
Sapphire.
Ten weeks. Wow. It feels like they have always been here — and it feels like a blink of an eye. Time is so strange, isn’t it?

I have not cleared up my laptop but I had the bright idea to use my desktop to upload photos from the past couple of days. Almost all of my Little Soldiers are otherwise engaged with work-related tasks and when that is true, it is okay to let things slide and find workarounds.
I suppose I could just not take and post photos but why? Even when we are close to capacity, we should create space for what we love. In fact, we must find space for what we love when working at or near capacity. Those are the things that sustain us.
Sapphire — his topline is quite nice but his fluffy puppy coat is usually having a bad hair day!
Star Garnet’s coat is quite different.
They are both (all!) so cute!!!
Only a few more days before Sapphire leaves to begin his new adventure. Star Garnet won’t know what to do for fun without brothers to pick on.

Look who came for a visit!!!
Tommy Tugboat Topaz (he is accumulating names) is doing GREAT 🎉 Jennifer had a Boise appointment so the Gems had a playdate. It was wild and the puppies had big fun.
We weighed the puppies and here are their weights:
Tommy Tugboat Topaz: 14.4 pounds.
Sapphire: 15.7 pounds.
Star Garnet: 17.7 pounds.
Sapphire looks so much heavier than Star Garnet — it is because of his coat. The kids now call him Fluffasaurus 😂
We can’t leave Jasper out and so here is a photo of him from earlier today.
Alison shared that Jasper volunteered that behavior! When a puppy knows how to learn, that is the kind of thing that happens — they begin offering up behaviors 🏆 How cool is that?!
