Six boys and four girls! All are well, as is Claire.
Claire had periods of panting overnight — things are happening.
We head to the vet clinic this morning for a blood draw to ensure her progesterone is low enough for the safe arrival of the puppies. Claire has gained almost 12 inches — and that is with me having to beg her to eat…
My current guess is ten puppies, plus/minus one. Wowza. I suspect her plan is to have two litters worth of puppies so she never has to do this again. Fair enough, Claire.
