Rosebud has been a wonderful addition to the family — everyone loves her.

Pozy and Karma.

It is interesting to observe the relationships between the animals. Pozy has a very healthy respect for rePete because rePete has gone ninja on Pozy when she was too forward or rough. Pozy loves to chase Rosebud but she never chases Karma — probably because Karma never runs.

Relationship insights. 1. Sometimes you have to show your claws. 2. If you find yourself chasing someone, it is probably because they ran. Just stop —it isn’t worth it and besides, it is exhausting.

And speaking of exhausting — that is what Claire thinks about pregnancy…

That puppy is having a Grand Life with Marija in Colorado — thank you, Marija!

The next photo is Daisy in the middle with Pozy, her daughter, next to her. Harper is the one with her head between her paws — she is Daisy’s aunt (and Pozy’s great-aunt).

Don’t let the photo fool you — Harper B is just as B for Busy as she has always been — being nine has not slowed her down one bit.

The pregnant girls are well and growing. Daisy is a graceful and happy pregnant girl and Claire… well, if it costs more than $10/pound Claire MIGHT consider eating it.

2021 — whew.

INDEED!

Thanks to wonderful and generous friends, I have a beautiful selection of masks.

I love articulating my Hopes and Wishes for a new year, but I find myself a bit chastened by 2020.

Okay — we learned the lesson of 2020. We got the memo. Stuff happens — BAD stuff. REALLY BAD STUFF. Life can be taken, changed, and re-arranged. Hope and Wishes — blown up.

Got it.

2020 was about learning that we are adaptable. We can do hard things. We can pivot.

Except Claire — no pivoting allowed for her right now!

The mold for the brace is on the way to Colorado — we hope to have the brace in 7 - 10 days.

I am not going to surrender more to 2020. I will keep articulating my Hopes and Dreams. I will continue to wish and plan, even knowing everything can change in a heartbeat — or a misstep.

After all, I am adaptable. So are you.
