Here is the photo from today’s newsletter reminding people to wear pink in honor of those who have died of cancer:
The Daily Q: Uncle
Another one of those days — such a mishmash of things.
I did the Virtual Specialty stuff. Made a PowerPoint for a webinar. Laid a track for Team Sadie (so fun!). Walked Harper B while chatting on the phone with my dad…
Finished preparing for the webinar and then did it via Zoom — it was on Collective Losses and got beamed across five states. Someone sent this to me at the end via Zoom chat…
…reminding me of the value of saying positive things to people — even when we do not have to. That was so so nice. I need to remember to pay it forward.
Then I dealt with online grading stuff, and then was on a Zoom meeting listening to a grad student presentation and now finally I am posting this blog!
WHEW.
And now I am off to walk with Daisy — exercise is important for expectant moms.
And professors with too many irons in the fire.
The Daily Q: Buried
The Virtual Specialty is going gangbusters on Facebook but is taking quite a bit more time than anticipated.
PLUS I am doing a webinar tomorrow for a five-state group and it was kind of last minute — and not even my fault, for a change! I had to get stuff done for that — the topic is Collective Losses.
AND I needed to revise the plan for my upcoming (also virtual) Berner U presentation.
And, and, and…
You get the idea.
But because I matter, I did my four miles of dog walks this morning.
What have you done for you today?
