The Daily Q: What Helps Me

I just got back from a walk with Suzanne and various dogs — exercise and the chance to see another human are two things that really help me as we settle into Pandemic Normal.

In addition to walking twice a day, I am also riding my bike most days each week.

Exercise — and especially bike riding — is the very best thing I do for maintaining my mental health.

Everyone has their things. What are yours?

It also helps me to have something to look forward to…

…I invite you to follow along as we look forward together to the Summer of Puppy Love.

The Daily Q: NEWS

It went like this...

I had all manner of plans for Spring and Summer — of course I did!

The plans included showing Daisy, who is all set to start accumulating titles in the manner of a Kaibab Girl.

And then a Pandemic arrived and suggested a bit of a detour.

And so Daisy is starting with Motherhood and then will accumulate her titles.

What can I say about that??! It is, after all, how I did things — kids first and then all those titles/degrees. The Easy Way is overrated.

Daisy was bred to GCH Pinnacle’s Josey Wales AXP OJP DD SCN TKN FDC CGC (“Major”); their puppies are due on/about May 24.

Can you just guess how thrilled and excited I am?!

If you are on Facebook, make sure to follow the Virtual Specialty — you can find it by searching for the 2020 BMDCA National Specialty Paddock.

We have another community update — today from Miss Jordan from the Sparklers:

Jordan here reporting in from isolation in rural Metchosin.   What I miss the most is getting out on the road but life is still pretty darn good.  Trips have been reduced to the farm market, the grocery store and for some in the house, trips to the vet.  Jumar is sporting a pandemic haircut and let me tell you it is a doozy.

We all gather around at 3:00 pm daily to listen to Dr. Bonnie Henry’s COVID-19 briefing who apparently has some very cool shoes!  Me, I am so looking forward to getting back to my competition schedule as a girl can only chillax so long.”

Thank you so much to Dianne for helping Jordan with her update — and we send community condolences to their family on the recent loss of their special girl, Sunny. No lifetime is long enough for those we love so deeply.
