Sage, one of the Bright Stars, finished his CD (obedience title) today in Arizona.

He also earned his DD (Draft Dog) earlier this year and his CGC (Canine Good Citizen) last weekend. WOW!!!!! What a great start to 2024 🎉

I did a quick trip to Boise on Sunday/Monday — I was there for literally 19 hours. I stayed with the kids and their parents had a night away.
After falling off his bike (and drying his tears), Lincoln asked if I would take him to Target and buy a face pad for him 😂 And yes — of course they wear helmets ⛑️ but face pads?! 🤔
The drive down on Sunday was stunningly perfect.
The drive home was terrifyingly awful.
It was like someone hit the “winter” switch overnight. Scary. But I made it home safe and sound.
Thanks to Almighty Heidi for staying here with Harper B and to Suzanne/Jay for letting Sparkle and Capella have a sleepover.
I took Pozy and Claire with me — Pozy LOVES to see her mom, Daisy.

And she also really enjoys the kids (and the adults!).
But I think her favorite part of visiting Boise is the bonanza of things to pick up!

Sparkle has definitely met her match!

The kids and I made friendship bracelets, ensuring that their parents will be finding beads for weeks to come.

Temps are warming up — yay! And that means mud, which is a wee bit of a challenge with dogs and new carpeting.
I am off on a quick overnight trip and so a full renovation update will need to wait but it looks like this around here.
Because who doesn’t have a Shop Vac, dog training supplies, a bed, their clothes, and giant exercise equipment in their living room?!
