The book, βTime Management for Mortalsβ makes the point that we never have enough time for all the things we would like to do β or think we should do, for that matter.
This is so true.
This is a lesson I learned over and over during the past 20 months of Crisis Saturation. I just did not have the capacity to do everything I wanted to do β or should do β and so I learned to be intentional about how I spent my Little Soldiers (aka capacity).
It was a process of trial and error, with lots of tears involved β but I have gotten pretty darn good at being okay, and it is because I know to prioritize those things that make me okay.
Right now, that includes getting ready for a Specialty I have looked forward to for two years.
