Photo Challenge

The Photo Challenge continues. Here is the last dog photo on Barb’s phone — it is Miss Maddie from our F Litter at well over 13 enjoying her garden.

Also — the flowers!!! Wow.

Maddie was as glorious as those beautiful flowers — and we will not forget her. Thank you, Barb.

We are inclusive in our Kaibab community! This is not a Berner — can you tell? Also — he has a thing for ducks.

That dog was brought to a veterinarian in Montana to be euthanized. He has severe joint issues and allergies, both requiring lifelong management and expensive medication, and his person just could not do it anymore.

One of the vet techs was a Newfie person and got his owner to release him to her. She put out the word and I saw it — and that is how that giant dog wound up living in a tiny Utah house with Dear Daughter.

His previous person was French and had named him Jean-Jacques but Dear Daughter never could get it right — and so his name transformed somehow to Jean Jacket 😂🤷🏼‍♀️

This is one of my favorite dogs in one of my favorite places — Karsten at 10 years and four months in the Truckee River…

I wish I was sitting on that rock, chatting with Jennifer, while we watched Karsten and the girls swimming in that beautiful river.

Sparkler Kiri…

That face! Hmmm… If I were with Kiri and Alison, there would be friends and New England fall colors and all-thing-maple, and that also sounds amazing. I am thinking I might have a bit of a travel bug today!

Wherever you are — please have a terrific Sunday, and do send photos because this is fun.

Photo Challenge

Photo Challenge — so fun! The idea is to send me the last dog photo on your phone.

Jennifer sent this of Wildflower Lupine — apparently she is in the Witness Protection Program 😂

Bright Star Xeena north of me in Canada enjoying a walk…

Dianne and her crew, which includes Sparkler Jordan, Terrie, and baby Hunter, are traveling — this is south of Colorado Springs — isn’t this a cool photo?!

Kira sends us the last dog photo she has on her phone — taken before she and Jay were life flighted to Salt Lake City to await Jay’s new heart. This is Bright Star Atlas and his canine bro, Onyx…

Cindy notes her two need some grooming but given that she is managing her household plus Kira/Jay’s family — well, sometimes you just have to let some stuff go so you can be amazing someplace else. Jonasz and Tanzi are happy and upright: Gold Star!

Farm Dog Certified! Toby claims Moonshadow Margie almost took out those hay bales — she looks angelic to me. Also pictured is Moonshadows’ Uncle Clark, who is Daisy’s littermate — and Toby, of course.

Keep the photos coming — fun is fun 🎉

Family Pics

TGIF

An update on Jay, Bright Star Atlas’s human dad. Jay’s recent heart transplant continues to be nothing short of a miracle. He is out of the hospital and per usual transplant protocol, he and Kira are staying in Salt Lake City for the ongoing outpatient care for the next few months. Grandma Cindy and other family have things under control at home (as under control as is possible, I should say). YAY for Jay!

Moonshadows Obi and Scout recently spent some quality brother time together…

Aren’t they handsome?!

Their sister, Margie Moonshadow, has been having fun in the show ring…

Go Margie!

Bright Star Xeena is taking home ribbons for her Scent Detection work…

I love this photo of Xeena…

This is Wildflower Kadi still trying to fit in her puppy tunnel…

Oh, Kadi! Thanks to Eden for the smiles :)

It is so fun to get photos and updates. I challenge you to send me the last picture on your phone of your dog — I know we all have so many. Here is mine — it is Harper B for Bushed after her birthday fun.

Have an amazing weekend — and please send those photos!
