Idaho

As you may have guessed, we are hanging out in the Boise area for a few days. Since Kira made it Facebook-official, I will share that Jay received his new heart two days ago and is doing well. Continued good thoughts for him and Kira.

Grandma Cindy went to Salt Lake City to be with them for the surgery and these first few days, and I came down to help out at Kira and Jay’s house, which includes four kids, three dogs, two cats, and two of these — much to Berkeley’s delight…

I brought Sparkle, Claire, and Capella and they are having big fun.

Sparkle has been so helpful — here is the latest collection of her pick-ups…

Happy Thursday to you.

Family Fun

“What’s Up, Buttercup?”

Just another title for our Little Miss Achiever — NW1! Well done, Team Buttercup.

Half-sister, Margie Moonshadow, had a cool win this past weekend — Reserve to a major at a supported entry…

Congratulations Team Margie Moonshadow!

Sparkler Jordan showing the family propensity for water…

Thanks, Dianne!

Claire agrees with her sister — water is fun!

And no — we do not suddenly have a swimming pool — but someone in this photo does…

Hint: The middle Bright Star has a pool…

Happy Wednesday — for all kinds of reasons.

Fall & Draft

Happy Thursday!

This is Moonshadow Obi holding a leaf.

It’s okay, Obi — the leaves are supposed to fall at this time of year!

And when leaves fall, it is time for draft training and tests. This is Margie Moonshadow (pink leash) with Bright Star Fauci at a draft clinic.

Fauci is already a skilled draft dog — he was a natural. This is what Toby has to say about Margie Moonshadow’s opinion of draft: “Margie is convinced the cart is part of a serial killing chain gang of some sort that will run her over and leave her for dead in the road.”

Capella adds, “Not before slowly torturing you — and your family. Stay far away from evil carts!”

Fauci: “Drama Llamas!

Game On — we can teach these girls to draft! Who doesn’t love a good challenge?

And a good day? Please have one.
