Have a Super Saturday
We leave tomorrow for the Specialty in Estes Park, Colorado — “we” being Sparkle, Daisy, Capella and me. It hurts my heart to leave Pozy at home but managing four dogs — including two puppies (Pozy is not even a year) — sounds daunting.
Pozy and Capella
Pozy will go next year, and Dear Husband will manage all things dog beautifully over the next week.
As you might imagine, it is a wee bit chaotic here today but I wanted to share some Bright Star photos. This is Sage Mirak with Uncle Lucas (Sparkler)…
I love this photo of Zuber admiring himself — yes Zuber, you are beautiful!
Atlas played with his littermate, Dallas Nova Jr., yesterday and she wore him out…
I will try to post every day from the Specialty and you can also follow along via the newsletter — click HERE to go directly to the posted newsletters.
Our surprise for Alison can now be shared! Tristan is one of the iPups (Fil x Zoey)…
This blurb accompanies the cover:
Although the cover is a surprise for Team Tristan, nobody is surprised by what Alison Jaskiewicz and a dog can do together. Tristan, with his boundless exuberance, launched Alison into the world of agility. Together they jumped through the levels, classes, and titles to complete a Preferred Agility Championship and make Tristan one of the very few Grand Champions to also have a performance championship. Obedience (with multiple High in Trials), agility, draft, tracking, owner-handled conformation -- Team Tristan excels at whatever they do together. We are so proud of this lovely dog and grateful to Alison for helping him achieve his potential. We also express appreciation to the co-conspirators of this surprise cover: Beth and Phil Atkinson for borrowing Tristan to both earn brace draft titles with Kelyn but also so that Eileen Blass could take the beautiful photo that graces The Alpenhorn cover. Well played, Team.
