Lucy Clover King

Lucy Clover King lives in Idaho and has been enjoying many wonderful adventures with her family. Here is their update:

Lucy Clover is such a sweet dog and so smart.  She learns so quickly!!  She is growing quickly, up to 30 lbs as of today.  We are still feeding her a combination of kibble / BalanceIt recipes and Darwin raw (she definitely loves the raw the best, although she loves all food!).  We have taken her on a lot of adventures, as you’ve seen on FB.   

And here’s the dirty out playing in the wilderness pup!  She isn’t crazy about the bath afterward, but sure cleans up nicely!

For being socially distanced, we are still introducing her to a lot of dogs and masked people.  :)

She knows sit really well, Clara taught her to roll over and for a while she was pawing us every time she sat (Clara was teaching her shake and it went awry), she has retrained her to not paw when she sits. 

Her first time in fairy wings…

We are working on come and take her on walks on the canal with Sadie.  They get along so well and have so much fun together.  

She loves to watch Elena play the violin. She will occasionally try to help by grabbing the bow…

Just a picture of her in the yard, it’s so hard not to take 100 pictures of her a day, she is such a beautiful pup!

Her favorite place is always someplace cool!  She loves the A/C vents and the hardwood floors in our kitchen.

Adventures

The pandemic shut down my streak of 29 straight months of visits to Boise but the drought ended yesterday…

…too bad the pandemic did not also end.

I think Sparkle is equally thrilled to be on an adventure. She had so much fun at our usual stop at the Salmon River.

She frolicked and swam and just had a good time.

She also introduced Pozy to the fun.

Sparkle was so happy to see her family.

Pozy just marched right in and made herself at home.

All people are Pozy’s People.

How is Berkeley, you wonder. The same strange blood sugar issues but the whole family is now Vegan and that seems to be helping.

They have long known dairy is a low blood sugar trigger for her (strange but true) and so having the whole family eat in the same way is useful and keeps food inclusive. “You can’t have that,” is hard for a child to hear all the time.

And speaking of family — here is Zeus with his boy…

While Pozy was enjoying our drive through Idaho and Zeus was getting cozy, Kadi was socializing at Home Depot…
